Hypnosis and Weight Loss
by/margit cathrine moller

Last month, the Canadian Obesity Network published the results of a world weight project and the result is not so surprising -- -- the entire world is gaining weight. People all over the world are getting fatter.

Our relationship with food is the path to everything that matters to us, especially our health, wellness, and fitness. Renowned author Geneen Roth said that the way we eat is inseparable from our core beliefs about being alive. “The world is in your plate”, she said.

One end of that relationship is the quality of our food. Last month, US First Lady Michelle Obama joined Walmart executives to launch the company’s Nutrition Charter, an initiative to help the problem of an overweight population by helping families feed healthier, more affordable food to their children.

But the other end of the relationship is the food consumers. Weight management is not just about the quality of food, it is also about the psycho-physical profile of the eater.

Oftentimes, diets do not work because it may not be about changing the food, but changing the attitude of the eaters and their eating habits. This is where hypnotherapy plays a very important role.

Hypnosis helps you understand your behavior patterns and help you recreate your habits, thus the results are more permanent. Hypnotherapy helps you develop a new self-image, more relaxation techniques, and more a positive attitude in life. If you feel good about yourself, the rest will follow.

These make hypnosis as one of the most natural ways to make your relationship with food healthier.

Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall. Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all life really means.

Never make your home in a place. Make a home for yourself inside your own head. You'll find what you need to furnish it - memory, friends you can trust, love of learning, and other such things. That way it will go with you wherever you journey.
