Write Your Vision for Weight Loss

We all know the power of having a clear vision, right?
I mean, just take it literally. If you have a 20/20 eyesight, you see things clearly.
This is the same clarity that serves as our motivation for important change plans such as losing weight.

To lose weight per se is not really a goal. It is an instrument that leads to a goal. So, what is it?
Why do you want to lose weight?
Why do you want to be slender? The number on the weigh scale is not as relevant as your vision of yourself.

For some people, losing weight means a healthier, more successful, more good looking self.
But your vision has to be clear, concise, and concrete. By that we mean not just being healthy but preventing diabetes; not just more successful but getting the promotion; not just more good looking but sexier with glowing skin.
What do you want to happen to you?

In fact, it helps if you do not just write, but have a clear image of yourself as you envisioned it to be.
You can get a friend who is good with Photoshop and ask him to create this image for you.
Print it and paste this vision on your wall.
Make it your screensaver.
Place a photo in your wallet.

It works three ways: it drives you to get motivated to pursue your goals;
It encourages you of the possibility; and it helps you believe that you deserve a better life.
