For me, this is one of the many advantages of modern living: the fact that you can readily seek psychological treatment and spiritual healing through the phone with no hassles of going to the therapist office for a face to face counseling or to healer’s clinic for a session. This was unheard of before, and anybody who attempted to it was frowned upon by every member of the counseling profession.
But today, it is not just an accepted part of the practice; it is a one that is gaining popularity. Despite its known limitations (phone therapy is only suitable to certain types of problems) some clients are satisfied with the results of phone counseling or healing for it is just as effective as in-personal sessions.
According to the study reported in the April Journal of Counseling Psychology phone counseling is an effective psychological practice. Valuable outcome shows specific improvement because health professionals provide general mental health to clients by means of a solution- focused model of therapy.
In addition phone counseling is cost effective and convenient because clients will experience healing connection at their own home when they really need it. Healing is further achieved when clients will become comfortable right away at home minus the stresses of going out and having to travel to and from the sessions. Besides, phone therapy directly addressed the issues itself for clients are hesitant to discuss them over the phone as they are more focused with their goal to heal.
In my practice as an intuitive healer, I still can connect with my patients just by listening to their voice.
I can still hear both what is said and what is not said.
And I trust that my voice becomes an instrument of healing energies.
"Nature gave men two ends - one to sit on and one to think with.
Ever since then man's success or failure has been dependent on the one he used most."
- George R. Kirkpatrick -
Anyone can carry his burden, however hard, until nightfall. Anyone can do his work, however hard, for one day. Anyone can live sweetly, patiently, lovingly, purely, till the sun goes down. And this is all life really means.
- Robert Louis Stevenson
Never make your home in a place. Make a home for yourself inside your own head. You'll find what you need to furnish it - memory, friends you can trust, love of learning, and other such things. That way it will go with you wherever you journey.
